If you are, or wish to be part of LSPD you must read this entire guide.

Part 1: Radio Commands

(/r)adio
Usage: /r [radio chat]
Description: Used to speak with fellow Los Santos Police Department members.

(/d)epartment
Usage: /dept [department chat]
Description: Used to communicate with the other Law Enforcement Factions as well as the San Andreas Fire Department. This command is only to be used by Sergeants and above, or the highest ranking available. Do not just "chat" on it. Everyone is allowed to contact FDSA (for medic calls) if necessary.

(/m)egaphone
Usage: /m [megaphone chat]
Description: Used for making announcements outside or from your cruiser, can also be RP'd as a loudspeaker inside of a building with [loudspeaker] as a prefix

(/su)spect
Usage: /su [playerid] [crime description]
Description: Used for issuing probable cause warrants for arrest. Can only be used if you know the persons name ICly but if you are arresting them you can use the prefix [John Doe] or [Jane Doe] as well as if they were sent to the hospital you can have a prefix for [hospital records].

/lspd
Usage: /lspd
Description: Used to access the LSPD Equipment Menu inside the Los Santos Police Department.

/mdc
Usage: /mdc
Description: Used to access a mobile data computer available inside of patrol cars to view several different types of information, primarily used for checking records of suspects.

/detain
Usage: /detain [playerid] [seat 1-3]
Description: Used for detaining suspects inside of your patrol vehicle. Make sure to role-play it.

/arrest
Usage: /arrest [0-30,000] [5-30] [bail 0]
Example: /arrest 15000 15 0 0
Description: If you have two suspects inside of a vehicle make sure you eject one. Cannot be used with another officer inside the vehicle.

/warrantarrest
Usage: /warrantarrest
Description: Used for suspects that have an RP Warrant for their arrest, viewable on /wants and there must be a judge active to view the people with /wants

/wanted
Usage: /wanted
Description: Lists all of the people who have probable cause warrants (stars) on them.

/cuff
Usage: /cuff [playerid]
Description: Used to cuff someone after they are tazed or after they have put their hands up. Remember to role-play cuffing them.

/uncuff
Usage: /uncuff [playerid]
Description: Used to uncuff someone after they are cuffed.

/tazer
Usage: /tazer
Description: Holsters and unholsters your tazer

/wants
Usage: /wants
Description: Used to see a list of people who need to be captured and put on trial, only available if Judicial is active.

/frisk
Usage: /frisk [playerid]
Description: Used to frisk a person for any illegal items. Make sure you role-play patting them down and do not power game patting them down.

/take
Usage: /take [name] [playerid]
Available names: weapons pot crack materials cellphone radio
Description: Used to take away someones weapons pot or crack. Make sure you always roleplay frisking someone and that you give them a chance to resist.

/ticket
Usage: /ticket [playerid] [500-15000] [reason]
Description: Used for ticketing people for traffic violations on a traffic stop.

(/gov)ernment
Usage: /gov [government message]
Description: Used by Captains and higher to address the people of San Andreas. Not to be abused

/ram
Usage: /ram
Description: Used to ram into locked houses, not to be abused.

/deployspikes
Usage: /deployspikes
Description: Creates a spike strip at your feet.

/destroyspikes
Usage: /destroyspikes [spikeid]
Description: Destroys the selected spikestrip id

/spikestrip
Usage: /spikestrip
Description: Displays all deployed spike strips

/deploycade
Usage: /deploycade
Description: Deploys a barricade

/destroycade
Usage: /destroycade
Description: Destroys the barricade that is closest to you

/revokedl
Usage: /revokedl [playerid] [reason]
Description: Used to revoke a players drivers license. Mostly used for evading arrest and extreme cases of reckless driving.

/vcheck
Usage: /vcheck
Description: Shows a small summary of important information about a vehicle including registration number, registered owner, any tickets it has and the type.

/vmdc
Usage: /vmdc [playerid]
Description: Used to show the vehicles that the selected player owns as well as their registration numbers, the model and any parking tickets it might have.

/tow
Usage: /tow
Description: Used to tow a nearby vehicle while using a towtruck

/untow
Usage: /untow
Description: Used to detach a vehicle from the towtruck

/impound
Usage: /impound
Description: Used to impound a vehicle you are towing at the Los Santos Police Department Headquarters ( the garage part )

/destroyplant
Usage: /destroyplant
Description: Destroys a marijuana plant that is near you

/radargun
Usage: /radargun
Description: Takes out and puts away your radargun

/searchcar
Usage: /searchcar
Description: Used for searching vehicles for illegal weapons or drugs.

/trunktake
Usage: /trunktake
Description: Used for taking illegal items out of trunks of vehicles.

/checktruck
Usage: /checktruck
Description: Searches a San Fierro Docks Truck for illegal items

/cleartruck
Usage: /cleartruck
Description: Used to clear illegal items out of trucks

/backup
Usage: /backup
Description: Displays a faction wide backup request with your GPS location (area) and a beacon on the mini-map to officers that are in your area.

/nobackup
Usage: /nobackup
Description: Displays that you no longer need backup and will clear out of the GPS.

/deployflare
Usage: /deployflare
Description: Creates a flare at your position

/destroyflare
Usage: /destroyflare [flareid]
Description: Destroys the selected flare ID.

/flares
Usage: /flares
Description: Displays the deployed flares ids.

/deploycone
Usage: /deploycone
Description: Creates a cone at your position.

/destroycone
Usage: /destroycone [coneid]
Description: Destroys the selected cone ID.

/cones
Usage: /cones
Description: Displays the deployed cones ids.

/deploybarrel
Usage: /deploybarrel
Description: Creates a barrel at your position.

/destroybarrel
Usage: /destroybarrel [barrelid]
Description: Destroys the selected barrel ID.

/barrels
Usage: /barrels
Description: Displays the deployed barrel ids.

Part 2: Vehicles

While on duty, You are not allowed to drive your own, civilian cars.

Part 5: Chain of Command

Cadet > Junior Officer > Officer > Senior Officer > Head Officer > Corporal > Sergeant > Staff Sergeant > Lieutenant > Captain > Commander > Deputy Chief > Chief of Police.

Anyone not wearing the correct uniform will be warned, if continuted then there will a punishment.

Part 7: Miranda Rights

These are the rights that you must read to a suspect before arresting them, usually as you detain them is the best time. If you fail to read them their rights the arrest doesn't count and you must release the suspect.

You have the right to remain silent,
Anything you do or say can and will be used against you in the court of law,
You have the right to an attorney after initial processing has been completed,
If you can not afford an attorney, one will be assigned to you,
Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?"
